instructions listed below may result in electric
shock, fire and/or serious injury.
This product is for indoor use only.
Do not get the product wet. Do not use if
this product is exposed to moisture.
Do not disassemble. This product has no
user-serviceable parts.
As with all electrical devices, use caution
when plugging and unplugging this unit
into an outlet or plugging/unplugging other
devices into this unit. Do not force this unit
into an outlet. Do not force plugs into this
outlet.
If required, use only UL/ETL approved
extension cords with this product.
If this unit is used in a manner not specified
by the manufacturer, the protection
provided by this equipment may be
impaired.
Do not overload the tool. It must be used
for powering devices less than the product
rating.
For use in grounded outlets only. Do
not remove grounding prong from back of
product.
Operate this product using only the
AC power type listed in the product
specifications.
Two- or three-prong plugs may be used
with this product. Do not force a polarized
plug (one prong larger than the other) into this
product. Flip plug over and retry.
Save these instructions. Refer to them
frequently and use them to instruct others
who may use this product. If you loan
someone this product, loan them these
instructions also.

USING THE POWER USAGE
METER
See Figure 1.
The power usage meter calculates the cost of power
usage by most electronic devices which plug into
a 120 volt AC outlet.
Cost is determined by the rate per Kilowatt hour
(kWh) charged by your local electric company. Call
your electric company for rates, or check your most
recent statement.
NOTE: The cost of operation is only calculated after
the rate per kilowatt hour is programmed.
This product displays Amps, Kilowatt Hours, Watts,
cost of operation, and the total price for the time
period the device was connected.
Before first use, remove the plastic strip from
the battery compartment on the back of unit.
Press and hold the Enter button
(C) until
the time display flashes.
• The default setting is a 12 hour clock.
To set hours and minutes, press the Clock/timer
button
(A) or Center button (B).
Press Enter button (C) again to set the price
per kilowatt hour (max. 0.99). Press the Clock/
timer and Center buttons (A) or (B) to change
the amount in cents.
When you have input the time and price per
kilowatt hour, press and hold the Enter button
(C) until the display stops flashing.
Plug the power usage meter into a standard,
grounded wall outlet or UL/ETL approved,
grounded 15 Amp capable extension cord.
Plug the device you wish to monitor into the
power usage meter.
When the device is plugged into the power
usage meter, it will begin displaying power used
in Watts. This is the default setting.
• To toggle the display between Kilowatt hours,
Amps, and Watts, press the Center button
(B).
• Press
to change to a 24-hour clock.
• Press
again to change to the duration of
time the device has been connected to the
meter.
The display shows minutes from 1-59, then
shows the time in hours. At 24 hours, the meter
switches to time displayed in days.

Ne pas mouiller le produit. Ne pas utiliser le
produit s’il est exposé à l’humidité.
Ne pas désassembler le produit. Aucune
de ses pièces ne peut être réparée par
l’utilisateur.
Comme c’est le cas avec tous les dispositifs
électriques, agir avec précaution au
moment de brancher l’unité dans une
prise et de l’en débrancher ou de brancher
d’autres dispositifs dans cette unité et de
les en débrancher. Ne pas brancher de force
l’unité dans une prise. Ne pas forcer les fiches
à s’insérer dans cette prise.
Au besoin, utiliser uniquement des cordons
prolongateurs approuvés par Underwriters
Laboratories, Inc. (UL) et Electrical Testing
Laboratories (ETL) avec ce produit.
Si cette unité est utilisée d’une façon non
conforme aux directives du fabricant, la
protection fournie par cet équipement peut
être détériorée.
Ne pas surcharger l’outil. Il doit être utilisé
pour alimenter des dispositifs dotés d’une
puissance inférieure à la sienne.
Compatible uniquement avec des prises
mises à la terre. Ne pas retirer la branche de
mise à la terre située au dos du produit.
Utiliser ce produit uniquement avec le type
d’alimentation c.a. mentionnée dans les
spécifications du produit.
Il est possible d’utiliser des fiches à deux
ou à trois branches avec ce produit. Ne
pas insérer de force une fiche polarisée
(une branche plus grande que l’autre) dans
le produit. Retourner la fiche et essayer de
nouveau.
Conserver ces instructions. Les consulter
fréquemment et les utiliser pour instruire
d’autres utilisateurs. Si cet outil est prêté, il
doit être accompagné de ces instructions.

To display the cost per kilowatt hour, press the
Enter button
(C).
• To toggle between Cost Per Day, Cost Per
Week, Cost Per Month, Cost Per Year, and
Total Cost calculated so far, press the Center
button
(B).
The meter will continue to calculate cost until
the device is unplugged. The information on the
display will remain in memory until the meter is
reset.
To reset the power usage meter, press the Clock/
timer and Enter buttons (A) and (C) at the same
time, until the display shows all zeros.
NOTE: If you do not reset the meter to clear the
memory, it will retain the most recent reading
and add it to the next one.
The meter goes into Automatic Off mode after
two minutes of inactivity. Pressing any button
will bring the display back up.
OVERLOAD WARNING
If the electrical current going through the power
usage meter exceeds 15 Amps, the overload
indicator light (D) will come on. If this occurs,
the power usage meter should not be used,
and the device you are attempting to measure
should be powered down and disconnected
from the meter.
REPLACING THE BATTERIES
See Figure 2.
The power usage meter uses two (2) LR44 button
cell batteries to retain readings in memory.
Estimated battery life is 4-6 months.
To replace the batteries:
Push on the two latches of the battery cover
to remove it.
Remove the depleted batteries.
Install two new batteries as shown and push
the cover back into place until it clicks to
close.
Reset the unit as previously instructed in Using
the Power Usage Meter.
CLEANING
If the unit becomes dirty or dusty, unplug it from
outlet. Unplug any attached devices. Wipe outside
of product with a dry or lightly dampened rag only.
Allow to dry completely prior to use. Do not use
spray cleaners.

L’instrument de mesure de la consommation
d’électricité calcule le coût de la consommation
électrique de la plupart des dispositifs électriques
qui se branchent dans une prise de 120 V c.a.
Le coût est déterminé selon le tarif par
kilowattheure (kWh) facturé par la compagnie
d’électricité locale. Communiquez avec votre
compagnie d’électricité afin de connaître ses
tarifs ou vérifiez votre relevé de compte le plus
récent.
NOTE : Le coût d’exploitation est uniquement
calculé une fois que le tarif par kWh a été saisi.
Ce produit affiche les ampères, les kilowatt heures,
les watts, le coût d’exploitation ainsi que le coût
total pour la période au cours de laquelle l’appareil
a été branché.
Avant la première utilisation, retirer la bande
de plastique du compartiment des piles situé
à l’arrière de l’unité.
Appuyer sur le bouton « Enter » (Entrée)
(C) et le tenir enfoncé jusqu’à ce que l’heure
clignote.
Le réglage par défaut est fixé pour un cycle de
12 heures.
Pour régler les heures et les minutes, appuyer sur
le bouton « Clock/timer » (Horloge/chronomètre)
(A) ou sur le bouton « Center » (Centre)
(B).
Appuyer sur le bouton « Enter » (Entrée) (C)
pour ajuster le prix par kWh. Appuyer sur les
boutons « Clock/timer » et « Center » (A) ou (B)
pour modifier le montant en cent.
Une fois que le temps et le prix par kWh ont été
saisis, appuyer sur le bouton « Enter » (Entrée)
(C) et le tenir enfoncé jusqu’à ce que l’afficheur
cesse de clignoter.
Brancher l’appareil de mesure de la
consommation d’électricité dans une prise
murale standard mise à la terre, ou le relier au
moyen d’un cordon prolongateur mis à la terre
de 15 A approuvé par UL et ETL.
Brancher le dispositif qui doit être évalué dans
l’appareil de mesure de la consommation
d’électricité.

30-DAY EXCHANGE POLICY: During the first 30
days after date of purchasing this product, you
may either request service under this warranty
or you may exchange it by returning it with proof
of purchase and all original equipment packaged
with the original product to the dealer from which
it was purchased. The replacement product will be
covered by the limited warranty for the balance of
the two year period from the date of the original
purchase.
LIMITED TWO YEAR WARRANTY. This product
is warranted against all defects in workmanship or
materials for a period of two years from the date
of purchase. The warranty on any accessories for
this product, excluding batteries, is limited to 90
days from the date the accessory is purchased. To
obtain warranty service, call Customer Service at
1-800-525-2579 for warranty return instructions.
The product must be properly packaged and
returned with all equipment that was included
with the original product. When you request
warranty service, you must also present proof
of purchase documentation, which includes the
date of purchase (for example, a receipt or a bill
of sale). Defective products returned within the
warranty period will be repaired or replaced, at
our option, free of charge, within ninety (90) days
or less. The cost of shipping the product to us
is your responsibility. This warranty only covers
defects arising under normal usage and does
not cover any malfunction, failure or defects
resulting from misuse, abuse, neglect, alteration,
modification or unauthorized repairs. It applies only
to the original purchaser at retail, and may not be
transferred. One World Technologies, Inc. makes
no warranties, representations or promises as to
the quality or performance of this product other
than those specifically stated in this warranty.
Any implied warranties granted under state law,
including warranties of merchantability or fitness for
a particular purpose, are limited to two years from
the date of purchase. One World Technologies, Inc.
is not responsible for direct, indirect, or incidental
damages Some states do not allow limitations
on how long an implied warranty lasts, or the
exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential
damages, so the above limitations and exclusions
may not apply to you. This warranty gives you
specific legal rights, and you may also have other
