Carefully pour fuel into the tank. Avoid spillage. Immediately replace

fuel cap and hand tighten. Wipe up any fuel spillage.

GAS

Move the choke lever to the START position and then immediately back

to the RUN position. Pull the starter grip and rope until the engine starts.

NOTE: This will set the carburetor to a fast idle setting for easier starting.

LUBRICANT

ENGINE STARTING PROCEDURE

WARNING: This Engine Starting Procedure is not a substitute for reading the

operator’s manual. To reduce the risk of injury, user must read and understand

operator’s manual before using this product.

To Stop:

First time use only: Pour entire contents of ONE engine lubricant bottle

into oil fill hole using the funnel provided.

Press the on/stop switch in the ON ( I ) position.

Press the primer bulb 10 times or until fuel appears.

Cold Engine:

Flip the choke lever to START position.

Stand beside the trimmer and place your right hand on the

handlebar and your foot on the frame as shown.

Pull starter grip and rope sharply with your left hand until engine attempts to run.

Pull starter grip and rope until engine runs.

NOTE: If the engine dies, set the choke lever to the

RUN position and

pull the starter grip and rope until the engine starts.

NOTE: If engine does not start, return to step 5 and repeat.

Press the on/stop switch in the

STOP ( O ) position.

Flip the choke lever in the RUN position.

Warm Engine:

Squeeze throttle trigger to operate.
