OPERATION
WATERPROOF RATING
The IP57 waterproof rating denotes that the product is totally
protected against dust and against the effect of immersion
up to 1 m.
Do not use this camera for diving or any other prolonged
underwater use. If the camera is exposed to rain or immersed
in water, wipe it dry as soon as possible.
The waterproof rating applies only when the the battery cap
and the USB/SD card slot door are securely closed.
WATERPROOF FEATURE
NOTE: Moisture or condensation does not indicate a mal-
function of the waterproof feature.
Changes in temperature (such as moving the camera from
a cold place into a warm place) may cause condensation
in the form of water droplets on the lens or the inside of the
camera. This is normal for all cameras. If this happens, turn
the camera off, open the SD card/USB access door, and
remove the battery cap and battery. Place it in a cool, dry
area and leave the battery cap and USB door open. Wait at
least an hour before you turn it on again.
After using the camera in water, check the inside of the SD
card/USB access area. You may see water droplets along
the edge of the cavity. This is normal. If so, carefully wipe the
area dry with a clean cloth before closing the cover.
POWER BUTTON
