MOTOR SWITCH
See Figure 4, page 12.

To spray, set the switch in the forward position. In forward,
the machine moves the fluid from the tank into the sprayer.

With the switch set in the reverse position, the machine
pulls the excess fluid back through the hose and into the
tank, leaving less fluid to clean up.

In the center position, the unit is off.
USING THE SPRAY WAND


To start the flow of liquid at the spray wand, depress the
trigger.

To stop the flow of liquid at the spray wand, release the
trigger.

To increase the flow of liquid from the spray wand, turn
the flow control knob counterclockwise.

To decrease the flow of liquid from the spray wand, turn
the flow control knob clockwise.

See Figure 5, page 12.
The lock-on feature is convenient when spraying for an ex-
tended period of time or when covering a large area.
To lock-on, turn on sprayer, depress the trigger and slide
the lock-on button forward.

lock-on button toward the handle.
NOTE: Make sure the trigger is not locked on before
inserting the battery pack into the sprayer.
SELECTING THE PROPER NOZZLE
See Figure 6, page 13.
Use the round nozzle in either stream or fan
mode for spraying consumer-grade home-and-
garden chemicals.
Use the flat nozzle when spraying stains or
sealants.
To switch nozzles:

Remove the battery pack from the backpack unit.

Remove the installed nozzle by turning it counterclockwise.

Install the desired nozzle and rotate clockwise to tighten
securely.
NOTE: The nozzle should be tightened securely by hand.
A too loose or overtightened nozzle may cause the sprayer
to leak or be damaged.
To change the spray pattern of the round nozzle:

Slightly loosen the nozzle for a stream.

Tighen the nozzle for a fan spray.

Carefully pour up to 1.5 gallons of stain or approved
premixed chemical solution into the tank.
